Rush Limbaugh Boycott Gains Steam

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Rush Limbaugh's imitation of the Chinese language during a recent speech made by Chinese President Hu Jintao has stirred a backlash among Asian-American lawmakers in California and nationally.

California state Sen. Leland Yee, a Democrat from San Francisco, is leading a fight in demanding an apology from the radio talk show host for what he and others view as racist and derogatory remarks against the Chinese people.

In recent days, the state lawmaker has rallied civil rights groups in a boycott of companies like Pro Flowers, Sleep Train and Domino's Pizza that advertise on Limbaugh's national talk radio show.

20. The FOUNDER of Domino's is a very RW, "religious" anti-choice fundamentalist

but he no longer owns it-he sold the company for cash to contribute to various RW causes he supports. I understand the current owners are of his same mindset, but I have no real information on them.

But their pizza sucks.

No one called a game of baseball like the late Jack Buck did. You could literally watch the game on the radio. I stopped listening to my old friend when Limbaugh came on to KMOX.

And he should give a REAL apology, something like "I was wrong to say what I did," instead of the standard "I'm sorry that you took offense at what I said" apologies that we hear so often.
