What a shame - all the upheaval going on in the world has robbed Davos of the spotlight.
You know...give them a demonstration of democracy in action, send a message to the real decision makers and while there shake the piggybanks to see if we can shake loose some of those uncollected taxes that wind up there.
2011: Cometh the hour, cometh the heavyweights
Davos this year was more business than bling. Where in previous years it was the likes of Bono and Claudia Schiffer promoting pet projects that grabbed the headlines, this year it has been the chief executives, bankers and politicians who have kept it strictly business.
