But you don;t know how they would be looking if it were a man.

If you have a job to do like they do, and someone is in your face, you might actually agree with them. You might disagree. But there's not a damn thing you can do short of quitting your job, changing sides, and risking god knows what. Standing there and adopting that look is about all you can do. It is human nature.
