Twitterverse claims confirmation that Mubarak has stepped down |

Anyone else seen or heard this anywhere other than the Twitterverse? I'm guessing they're getting confused about him "firing" his entire government (which still makes me chuckle at how out of touch he is and how obvious such a move makes the demonstrators point).

and 'Twitterverse' couldn't get 'confirmation' from anywhere except through journalists - it's not as if it's a bunch of people inside government buildings. All it can do apart from that is repeat rumours. You're probably right, it's someone who has confused the government resignation (that Mubarak forced) with Mubarak himself going.
