Is there an online petition to support the Egyptian people?

It would be great to be able to show these brave men and women somehow that we stand with them.

Is there an online petition anywhere? I'm going to assume they will still have access to it, regardless of the "Death of the Internet".

I know it's just a gesture, but I feel they need to know that not everyone agrees "Mubarak isn't a dictator", or that he just needs to reorganize his government in a more democratic form.

I think it would help, however, to let them know that not all of America agrees with the "Mubarak isn't a dictator" and "he must refashion his government in a more friendly form" bilge being put forth by Biden and Clinton.

It has been noted by the commentator that there are no factional divisions in sight; no flags but the Egyptian flag. "That's what makes this unique - this is a united stand by the Egyptian people". It's far too early for anyone, including the so-called experts, to predict what will result from this uprising. While I'm sure there will be maneuvering by various interests and groups following the downfall of Mubarak, I'm going to predict that any new government will not be in the form of a dictatorial regime that uses gunfire to silence dissenters.

7. Showing solidarity is just that, showing solidarity. No one is saying it "solves" anything.

Ask any political prisoner -- without exception, they acknowledge that knowing that there were people around the world paying attention to their plight kept them from feeling total despair.

The Egyptian citizenry are political prisoners of a corrupt regime. As a matter of honor and human decency, it is only fitting and just to express our support of their struggle to be free.
