I heard some rather disturbing sounds while scanning the Sunday poli-talk-all TV programs: Apparently, there is "wiggle room" vis-a-vis our scheduled (by the Bush Administration) timetable for complete withdrawal from this debacle.

In all three e-ails, I demanded that my, huh, "people in DC" make damn sure that all of our troops are out of that mistake on 01/01/12

I urge everybody here to contact your Senators and Congressperson and drive this point home. And don't be afraid to cuss!

1. I agree. I will e-mail my congress critters but I'll probably be whistling in the

wind. The only people benefitting from these wars are the contractors and the MIC....plus the military and Pentagon in general. Keeps the whole thing running.

I see it this way: the U.S. needs money....let's save billions (even better...lives!) and get our house in order economically.
