I'm a nearly 46 year old woman. A mom with a "special" 10 year old. Imagine how I could go to jail because I'm smoking a joint. So pathetic...

4. The "war on drugs" is bullshit.

A good friend of mine is in the middle of a 34 year federal sentence on a cocaine charge.. a non-violent, first-time offender. It's an outrage. My cousin was raped by her stepfather as a teen and he only got probation and had to register as a sex offender.. no jail time. Something isn't right here.

6. Back then, I had hoped the future would be a little better

when it comes to the criminalization of marijuana. I would have predicted it would be legalized or at least decriminalized by now.

And yeah, I kind of miss the days when COPS was our only reality show.
