5. Saya no more concessions
200 days to the election and there must be a parliament to examine the constitution and he has no time to dissolve parliament or initiate elections. Pure bullshit.
Fuck him.

6. Lying his ass off
Saying the govt. met with the "youth," as he described the protestors and has been ranting about the outside forces influencing the protestors.

He is saying these words, ongoing excusing the govt.'s actions while there are live shots being fired into the square as darkness has descended and the violence resumes, ratcheted up to sniper shots at the crowd. As one desperate protestor they had on the phone just before this torturor started spouting, "who else would have weapons with laser sights, night-vision and long-distance capabilities aside from the government?"

Earlier the Prime Minister was claiming that there would be no more attacks on protestors tolerated and that he would conduct an investigation into who/what was behind the attacks on the peaceful protestors.

Good cop, bad cop strategy going on. Desperate regime trying to survive worldwide condemnation.

This guy is quite an unabashed liar.

Un-fucking-believable.

I can hardly listen to this guy.

will be held responsible....

ACTING LIKE HE HAS NO IDEA WHO ORDERED THEM...

also, blaming the protests on the youths doesn't even come close to matching the reality we all see on al-jazeera.

11. This is their attempt to head off
Friday's massive nation-wide protest.

This guy is hilarious, calling the protestors "youth."

Mr. Vice President, "Where did the snipers get their sophisticated nighttime weaponry they are using tonight at the square?"

This guy rivals Baghdad Bob

17. He's explaining the "orderly transition" process the U.S demanded
Edited on Thu Feb-03-11 12:23 PM by Bragi
They have to talk to people, they have to convene a parliament, they then need 90 days to pass constitutional amendments, etc, etc.

Amidst all this pressing transition jobs, he also needs to find time to hunt down and kill any remaining pro-democracy leaders.

With such a a heavy workload, maybe Mubarak won't even get finished by September, so he'll have to postpone the scheduled elections.

I guess that would upset his retirement plans mightily.
