I became a member of DU...

I want to thank all of you, the ones who like me and value my voice, and those who don't like me...

All of you have contributed so much to my education. I wasn't very politically aware, though I'd been a life-long Democrat.

I was new to the internet, and being here was a revelation. Viewing all the news sources, reading other peoples' posts and hearing their thoughts...

This was a complete revelation for this n00b.

DU has become my electronic home. All of you are part of my electronic family...
