Bush trip to Switzerland canceled amid threatened legal action
Well at least someone is willing to deal with our criminals.

(CNN) - Former President George W. Bush's trip to Switzerland was canceled after human rights activists threatened legal action over allegations the former president approved the torture of terrorism suspects.
The New York-based Center for Constitutional Rights said it is prepared to file a complaint against Bush with the support of 50 NGOs, according to a statement from the group. CCR said Bush's presence on Swiss territory is required for a prosecutor to take action.

Bush was scheduled to speak in Geneva on February 12th at a dinner to honor the United Israel Appeal. CCR said the trip was canceled to "avoid our case."
David Sherzer, a spokesman for the former president, said the event was "called off" by the organizer.

1. Coward!
A real man would have stood up to thoose people and not allowed them to be able to claim victory
Doesn't he realize his refusal to go only emboldens America's enemies?
We're at war. He needs to show the world he isn't afraid.

2. He doesn't need to show the world a damn thing. It is already proven he is a criminal.

5. If they would STOP WARNING or "threatening" and let them
travel and then take the action it would be a much better tactic.

9. It's a no brainer.
Actually, they could send him a notice he won a free trip, all expenses paid at the finest hotel in Switzerland.

They could lure him there and then slap him in cuffs, if they just stop bragging about the charges ahead of the trip.

10. Criminals always go for the free trip thing
It's their greed that gets them.
