Want a Society but don't want Social Spending..:crazy: Even Glenn Beck might have a problem explaining that one...

4. The ancient civilizations were run that way...
so if you want to live in ancient Egypt, Japan, or most nations before 1700 you could do so without social spending. Social spending concepts were creations of the Enlightenment.

7. The people making those decisions already have their society. Why would they want us to have one?
It makes no sense. Why would the top 1% want us to have a society at their expense? They already have the money to pay for what they need. They're not in the business of charity, and it's not like they really have to "live" in American society.

I agree with you that they should want one, but maybe we should accept that they don't, because it gives them power.
