Edited on Tue Feb-15-11 10:58 PM by KansasVoter
Just wondering what Keith leaving MSNBC has done to DU viewer ship.

1. Definitely less.
Not a fan of O'Donnell at all but still watch Maddow.

2. Some nights almost not at all.
Although I like Larry O'Donnell (SP?) he doesn't interest my husband so we often skip it. Then it depends on how many hours of Top Gear are on.

4. I have stopped watching MSNBC all together since Keith left. Except for DU I have pretty much
tuned out politics. I'll start watching again as the 2012 election approaches.

10. Well TECHNICALLY, I was watching more last couple of weeks but b/c of EGYPT.
But my nightly viewing habits have changed.
Larry-O does a great job but puts me to sleep. Ed belongs at dinner time like he was before. I can't get into that stuff at 10.
Not has changed with the 9 oclock hour of course.

13. I would always start out with Countdown with the expectation
that I would finish reading my book, or do dishes, etc and then all of a sudden Rachel was over as well. I just don't have the connection with Mr Beltway Insider O'Donnell so it no longer occurs to me to turn MSNBC on. I really miss Keith and Countdown.

15. Not tuning in for Keith causes me to miss Rachel and Ed --
but caught part of Rachel tonight -- as she was making clear the right wing

violence that is depriving women of their right to abortion --

and that it isn't only about abortion -- right wing violence is being used

any time they can't get something some other way!

Agree -- and that's been true for almost 50 years now -- beginning 11/22/63 --

In fact, I dumped cable (concast) and didn't replace it with satellite. Our tv is seldom on any longer.

21. Is this a part of your personal plan to exact revenge on MSNBC...
...by killing all progressive programming on it and turning it into a full-time prison rape channel?

NGU.

I miss KO plus I HATE the way they have screwed up the schedule. Ed is on way too late and O'Donnell is on way too early.

28. Keith was posting to internet quickly... now the shows are all posted so slowly, I often give up...
So ironically, while I came to be a bigger fan of Rachel (and often wished Ed & O'Donnell were actually posted online)... because Keith's team which posted the show quickly is gone... I find that I can only pick my nose patiently for so long before I'm on to other things... and MSNBC gets lost by the wayside...
