Fox "SPECIAL ALERT" Blasts Obama for USA PATRIOT ACT
Edited on Fri Feb-18-11 07:39 PM by kpete
FUCKING BIZARRO UNIVERSE CONTINUES TO FUCKING TURN ITSELF INSIDE OUT

Fox News Blasts Obama for USA PATRIOT ACT

.........................

The condemnation started with Fox and Friend's Gretchen Carlson saying: "I looked it up on Google and the Constitution specifically forbids the President from some of the powers in the Patriot act, like holding people without charging them, but Obama wants to arrest and hold anyone! This includes US citizens." To which a worried Sam Shepard added "what's worse is that the liberal hate groups like the ACLU are all for it. I'm afraid that he'll put his political opponents, the true patriots into that God Forsaken Island prison of his- Guantanamo."

As the day continued day time news reader Megyn Kelly warned "the Obama's patriot act contains provisions to allow Obama to wiretap any phone line without a judge's orders for any reason whatsoever. " "When will this unamerican behavior end? We saw Obama's need for control with all these crazy TSA rules- but now he's gone too far," she yelled exasperated before throwing her hands up and going to commercial.

..............

"obama's patriot act"

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH

FoxNews expects the Special Alert to boost ratings to November 2008 levels.

1. Double Standard
But they supported the same bill when Bush was in office. What changed?

3. He could extend tax-breaks for millionaires and bailout banksters and Fox would complain
I mean, if Obama kept Gitmo open and continued 2 wars... they would complain.

Even if Obama had refused to even investigate Iraq war lies or financial fraud, Fox would still whinge.

4. Obama should just have let it expire. By seeking to extend it,

he plays right along with the narrative.

5. bizarro indeed
It makes my head spin. And to see the argument I used to use against right wingers when the thing first passed just makes it that much worse. I used to ask them how they would feel if Hilary Clinton had all the powers that Bush claimed as his own :). I never got an answer because they knew the answer was total hypocrisy: That-person-we-DON'T-like has too many powers! It is tyranny....WAH!!!!

6. Conveniently rewriting history...
...because, see, it was okay when GWB was in office because he was "one of us" (wink wink), a "good ol' boy" from Texas (and I don't want to hear about him being born in Connecticut to a wealthy and connected family, la la la I can't hear you) who "you'd like to have a beer with". So he would never use those powers against US (wink wink).

But now, we have this exotic African (-American? hardly, I've never seen his birth certificate, have you? And is Hawaii really part of the U.S.? I mean, reeeaaallly?) in the White House and all he had to do, I mean all he had to do was to give up those powers that made "us" (wink wink) uncomfortable. And he did not give up those powers. So he's EVUL, and will probably use those powers against US, unlike GWB who was a Good Christian (oh did I mention that Barack HUSSEIN Obama is a MUSLIN???)

11. Obama's 3D chess at work.
He is attacking civil liberties so conservatives will start defending them. Reverse psychology, I think it's called.

12. 16 y/o son says; 'These people are morons.
They really can't be this stupid.'

Dad; "You know that they're doing this on purpose... right?"

"Well, yeah they're doing the 'manipulative lack of journalism thing', but Gretchen Carlson really is that stupid. They don't have an intelligence to call their own."

14. Get off your high horses, everyone. As Make7 said, this is satire.

Under the story are links to other stories, like . The "Rumor Miller" site creates satires.

Sam Shepard wouldn't actually call Gitmo "that God Forsaken Island prison of his".
