D.C. lobby firms represent Libya
The government of Libya, responding to protests in recent days with alarming violence, pays three prominent Washington lobby shops to improve relations with Congress and the White House.
...
Livingston Group, White & Case, and Blank Rome are all on record as representing the regime of Muammar Abu Minyar Al-Qadhafi.
...
The Livingston Group, headed by former Louisian Congressman Robert Livingston, also represented Mubarak’s government in Egypt.

2. I'm not familiar with the commercial.
How is it relevant to this?

3. There is a theme or a motif to Geico.
Just trying to zero in on their thought concept, the Stanley commercial being about Dr. Livingston makes some sense, trying to find if it was regarding some lobbying efforts after that post, or the concept around Stanley and Livingston. I was trying to find if it was a link to some comedian, or comics, but that did not fit, couldn't find that link, so seeing if it can be tracked back through some of that.

Still thinking on it.

4. I think you're completely off track here.
I don't think Geico has anything to do with any of this.

This is about PR firms that represent an evil dictatorship, not auto insurance.
