The WI Republicans are delusional. Really--outright delusional.
Take this statement from Robin Vos, a classic Republican idiot:

"The people who are not around the Capitol square are with us. They may have a bunch around the square, but we've got the rest on our side."

As we Cheeseheads say, "Yah, sure, Robin."

Everywhere you look across Wisconsin, there are groups of protestors standing outside courthouses, on college campuses, on overpasses, out in front of businesses run by Republican politicians. M$M doesn't cover these little "satellite" demonstrations. If they are covered at all, it is in the local papers. As a result, the Republicans think that the whole show is the one they can see out their windows, around the capital square in Madison.

They think they have 70,000 pissed-off people to deal with. In reality, they have alienated millions of Cheeseheads. Every Republican Senator's voice mailbox is full. They discount the overflows in their email inboxes as the work of "outside agitators" and mass-delete the messages.

They pushed the state past the tipping point a while back, but have no clue about what they have done. I believe they truly do not understand what they have on their hands, and they are proceeding merrily along, driving their SUV into a minefield. The opposition they have stirred up is too deep to settle down after the budget bill is resolved--however it is resolved. There will be recall petitions--first for the eight Republican Senators who are eligible for recall, then for the Governor. And they will succeed.

And no Republican will again be elected to statewide office in Wisconsin for a generation.

1. Those who DO support the GOP are ignorant on this
They want to turn to the late 19th century sweat shops and anyone who does not realize this did not pay attention in history class.
