1. Go ahead!
:kick:

I wonder how many of the unrecs will come from outside of the Chicago City limits!

7. He's not my first choice. I voted for Patricia Watkins. But, I'll probably
vote for Rahm over Chico in the run off. I'd be VERY surprised if it's not Chicago vs Rahm,

11. You don't know Chicago then
His favorability is quite high here and I wouldn't be surprised if he wins outright tomorrow.

The only place I here so many negative comments about him in on DU, especially those who don't live anywhere near the city. Go figure.

15. You wanna put some money on that?
Unless you think "the base" means "people who don't live in Chicago, yet still think they speak for 'THE BASE'".

Listen, Rahm doesn't thrill me, but if he's half as good for the city as Mayor Daley, I'll be OK with him winning. (and if you don't think that Daley was a net positive for Chicago, you don't know shit about Chicago.)

*insert "Chicago Politics" bullshit statement* - It ain't 1968 anymore.

9. I'm looking forward to voting for Gery Chico for Mayor tomorrow
I don't want to see Scott Walker I mean Rahm Emanuel as mayor. Especially with so many different city employees contracts that has expired or about to expire. I want someone who is at least on the side of union workers in the mayor's office instead of another DLC corporatist. He is not right for Chicago.

13. Yeah, Rahm = Scott
I understand your preference, but you undermine your credibility with such a ridiculous statement.

22. He is very anti union
He has attacked city workers and supports Daley's and Duncan's move to add more charter schools to our city instead of improving our public schools. He is not just as bad as Walker but he wants some of the same things he wants when it comes to public employees rights to unionize and collectively bargain.

23. Lovely shore, don't you think?
Nice bike trails, too. Lots of green-whatevers.

Yeah, the parking meter thing is bad. Positive vs. Negative, I think that Daley was OK. The city would look like shit if he'd not took a few principled stands.
