I wanted those giveaways to the rich to lapse and he could have...but then DADT would still be the policy of the military and several other bills that helped Democrats that would have never passed on their own. The term is called "governing" and "compromise"...something neither right nor left is prepared to do. So much easier crying you didn't get it all than to negotiate.

6. So many other ways to portray this

How about a couple of stealth bombers? How about 1 week's war in the middle east. These are things directly in the budget from Obama himself. No need to tie separate events (even though I agree with the sentiment here) when the budget itself has so many, many egregious bits of war pork in it.

As I have said elsewhere, I'm sure the people freezing to death next winter from lack of heat will feel safe knowing we have an even bigger arsenal of weapons designed to take on the 2012 Soviet Union!

12. I agree 100% However...

for me the not taking the breaks away for the wealthy is far more reaching. At least people will be employed and making a good wage for their services building something. The tax breaks don't create any jobs, at least not as many as the right contends they do.

That is why I think this cartoon says what I feel....
