Billions were given to Wallstreet firms as bonuses, maybe they could give some to Wisconsin
BONUS season on Wall Street:
1. If it’s a good year, big bonuses are on tap as a reward.
2. If it’s a bad year, big bonuses are necessary to retain “top talent.”

JP Morgan Chase set aside almost $10bn for basic pay and bonuses in its investment banking division.

Goldman Sachs bankers to receive $15.3bn in pay and bonuses.

Citigroup will pay some top executives millions of dollars of cash bonuses if its core operations earn at least $12 billion before taxes over the next two years.

2. Instead of five homes, maybe they could manage with just four
Or they could give up the diamond encrusted dog collar for Rover.

4. We should tax these obscene bonuses the same way we tax lottery winnings.

6. Well, no. Lotteries are won fair and square.
We should tax these bonuses like we treat the profits of any other large-scale criminal enterprise.

8. They wanted to save the banks
They want to destroy the middle class. They don't need us. All they need in the new global economy is a worker who will work for slave wages and poor conditions. Just like the Grapes of Wrath. Always a new worker somewhere.
