WTH? LePuke fires Dr. Mills from her new job as head of Mainecare?

Sounds like LePage thought he'd have an easy time strong-arming her. Guess not. Anyways, I think there may be a broader issue if he can fire a legislative appointment. I hope the whole mess gets exposed and e-mails released. I have no doubt that LePage will prove, yet again, he's a buffoon and not fit for the office.

I know her in a professional capacity and she's got balls 'o steel when she needs them. I hope the whole thing comes out in the wash, I can't think of anyone else in Maine that has a handle on the public health needs better than her.

I just wish she could have stayed around. If anyone had a hope of doing something meaningful with Mainecare, it was Dr. Mills.

I know how these things happen in Texas, but I get even more discouraged when crap like this starts happening in states that I think of as liberal. :(
