CCS STAFF WORKS ON WISCONSIN CURRICULUM
During the last weekend (February 18 & 19), six CCS staff members travelled to Chicago to participate in the North Dakota Study Group meeting. This professional development opportunity allowed them to immerse themselves in their progressive practice with educators from around the country.
While they were there, the Madison, Wisconsin protests were in full force and practically next door! Some of our CCS staff made the trip to Wisconsin to support fellow teachers while some stayed behind and wrote a curriculum for Teachers, Parents and Educators to use to talk to elementary school students about the issues in Wisconsin and why they’re important. This curriculum is now being used by educators nation-wide and we’re so proud of our CCS teachers who thought of the children first (of course!).
