I heard "150,000 strong" at this hour.

Let's create a unified thread rather than a hundred threads.
Add your uptakes and updates, photos, and more. Add your X-POsts here too.

The action will begin soon, 2 PM in Madison.

1. On the uptake feed
I can finally hear what I've seen people tweeting for a couple of days.

Car horns honking to the tune of "This is what democracy looks like!"

:)

11. Kudos
It dovetails nicely with Walkers "what me worry" style of governance.

Like a kid who learns by sticking a paper clip in a wall socket, he is likely shocked by the current backlash of what he thought was a no-brainer decision to short circuit the state's labor agreements. Now he faces a legislative house fire that threatens to leave his fellow Republicans homeless.

I'll be emailing that pic to my friends if you don't mind.

Republicans just love to dismiss the ongoing pro-labor protests in Wisconsin, accusing unions of busing in demonstrators from out of state. But they're gonna have a much harder time of it this Saturday at 12:00 noon, when thousands of farmers descend on the state Capitol in what is being billed as the Farm Labor Tractorcade.

Translation: Workers of the Wisconsin unite

According to the protest's Facebook page, over 3,500 people have already confirmed that they will be attending the event, and while I suppose they won't all be riding in on farm equipment, that's still shaping up to be a helluva lot of tractors rumbling in solidarity with state workers, and the rights of all Wisconsinites to bargain collectively.

23.  Statement from Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Madison -- Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald issued a withering statement Saturday ahead of the return of the 14 Democratic Senators to the state Capitol.

He called the Senators "the most shameful 14 people in the state of Wisconsin" and said it was "an absolute insult" to hundreds of thousands of Wisconsinites that the Senators ran away to Illinois to block Gov. Scott Walker's budget-repair bill.

Fitzgerald wrote: "To the Senate Democrats: when you smile for the cameras today and pretend you're heroes, I hope you look at that beautiful Capitol building you insulted. And I hope you're embarrassed to call yourselves senators."
