How in the world can we talk about bringing Democracy to other countries when we essentially do not report things that are not paid for by the right? Am I seeing the end of freedom here? God bless those in Wisconsin who refuse to be marginalize and persevere through adversity. We will see you at the ballot box. If it was a teabagger rally, it would be shoved down our throats on every station in America.

3. There's no fundamental difference between a corporate plutocracy and state communism.
Corporate plutocracy: You can't film here this is private property!

State communism: You cannot film here, you are a counterrevolutionary!

4. Yep, sort of like the old Pravda of the Soviet Union.
I remember back when we made fun of them. Now we are them. :-(

12. Worse.
Pravda would report, but lie about it...so you'd figure just take the opposite and it was the truth.

American censorship is by omission and obfuscation. Much harder to cut through.

8. Yes really, those are awful things but they
have nothing new they have reported on either. Most of the reporting on Japan's nuclear problem is how no one is in danger etc. It's all propaganda but they won't cover WI because that would be getting out the "wrong" message.

7. The corporate media has really dodged a bullet where Madison is concerned....
They have Libya and now Japan. They get a fullblown pass on talking about those darned pesky Americans and their triflin' problems.

9. The absolute lack of reporting from Madison is the proof that we don't have a news media.
We only have corporate and government propaganda.

13. The problem goes beyond lack of coverage
If they covered the Wisconsin story it would be with right wing talking points. Pounding away on the deficit and how the governor is being vilified for making tough choices.
