American military fighting along side al-qaeda? Really? |

What kind of right-wing bs is this? I see stories all over the internet today about the Libyan rebels having al-qaeda ties. Beck and Limbaugh and going to have a field day with this. This is the kind of shit that happens when you rush in to war. Candidate Obama would never do such a thing, apparently President Obama would. Sad.

. I heard last night it was going to be a new republican talking point. There was an interview with someone who claims to be a Libyan "rebel" and he says that al queda is aidding them. Naturally that equals- Obama is aiding the terrorists. I can't believe hoe low these people will sink.
All I have to say to that is- remember Chalabi.

5. It doesn't matter, really, we did pretty much the same in Afghanistan. |

IF these "rebels" ever turn on us, we'll come back to bomb their country again in a few years, with them in our sights this time.
surely they know this
We've stepped in it deep here - no end now except to keep bombing the piss out of every target all the way to the shores of Tripoli.

6. Guilty. It seems as though that may have been bad information. |

I apologize for any errors. I don't exactly have the AP newswire running through my home or office. I basically rely on visions that appear on my grilled cheese sandwiches.

7. Why would that be a surprise? |

We're forever doing stuff in that part of the world that makes no sense at all. I suspect oil as the motivator, rather than concern over the welfare of the people living there. But, what do I know?
