They are the SAME DISTRACTIONS that allowed us to defend Bill Clinton against the STARR COMMISSION that was relentless on the MAINSTREAM MEDIA and across the TELEWAVES about the "Blue Dress and Monica ...and that secret room off the White House where Clinton was "Cigaring Monica."

How soon we forget..How Little we Remember...How Stupid and Manipulated we are.


It's ALL GOOD NOW...though...It's all been swept under the carpet ...Hasn't it... And BTW there was a "STOLEN ELECTION" somewhere in there..Wasn't There?

HERE'S THE THING:

I was a HUGE CARTER SUPPORTER...He disappointed me....I was a HUGE CLINTON supporter....(I thought Clinton/Gore was what Many of You Du'ers thought Obama would be for our Democratic Party after the Bush I Regime. I worked for him, donated...I even thought the DLC was a GOOD IDEA after REAGAN to re-energize the Dem Party after his "Mt. Rushmore Inducing Reign" where the "RW" considered him a GOD to them!

Anyway...to make a long story short...I'm a Democrat who has been through TOO MUCH DEM STUFF...that has failed.

I think the Democratic Party needs to MOVE ON past the DLC into something Different. I had such high hopes about Al Gore that he would be our SAVIOR...I posted endless stuff here on DU that "GORE WOULD RUN IN 2004...and GORE WOULD RUN in 2008! I was trashed...........and it was a GOOD THING that I was TRASHED...because the DEM PARTY/DLC and otherwise had ALREADY DECIDED THE CANDIDATE...it was Barack Obama.

I am very disappointed ....Once Again...I've been FOOLED.

What DO WE DEMS (who feel disenfranchised..time after time)...DO ABOUT THIS?

If anyone has any ideas... :shrug:

BTW: This is an emotional post...spelling mistakes and grammar atrocities are here in this post. I'm just at wit's end trying to make sense of all we Progressive Dems have been through and how we are trashed...over and over and over.

3. KnR great6 rant....I too was disappointed too many times...but when I look at the big picture

Our side got too many good deeds and results to be ignored...sure we coulda done better in this or that, but we went with what we thought was best.

Look at our HEROS...We got tons....

The GOPers brainwashed the voters Dems were wimps and geeks....ZEROs...

as it turns out...its the Gopers who are the ZEROs....

Just lookit their Presidential Bench...they got Trump, Palin, Huckee, Mitt, Rand, Bachmann, Guiliani, Newt....

Just no Heros there...

Our side did more good for American common people than the GOPers ever did....

Our Party must return to its roots of Common Decency...do not confuse with Common Density....(the GOP)

How to do requires a plan of sorts....a system design to teach/inspire Common Civics and leadership skills needed

How to do this asap should be looked at
