My teabagger neighbors think the Donald is the one! And yes, they would vote for him over a repug.
Think about that for a moment. The teabaggers vote for the Donald as an Independent. The more moderate Repugs vote for Pawlenty or whom ever else. Their vote is split and Obama wins easily.
I know 'some say' that Donald will not run, but wow - what a great scenario this would be.

11. In my opinion, he didn't. |

If 'Democrat' means anything, then no one who voted for Reagan deserves to be called one.

12. Former President Clinton and President Obama have completely |
|
diluted the meaning of Democrat with their triangulation strategies.

13. I agree, he's just promoting a show. I give it a 10% chance of an actual run. n/t |

4. As much as I, too, would love this scenario... |
|
ultimately i think it is very clear that Trump is simply doing as much as he can to raise his profile and have the opportunity to say 'my television show Apprentice' as many times as possible.
He is a walking, talking marketing gimmick. He has no sincere ambition to be president.

But I doubt Trump is running. He is just saying this for attention and to boost his already enormous ego.

He won't have to run as an independent, he'll be the GOP nominee. Latest polls have him over 25% GOP support, with a solid lead over the next most supported candidate (Huckabee).

15. The national poll doesn't matter. Look at the early polling for Iowa, NH and SC. He's not going to |
|
win Iowa. The ethanol pledge will kill his chances.

just how long the country is going to put up with that. By primary time food prices may be so high that winning in Iowa means losing elsewhere.

as a young woman, would I ever consider voting for him for President? No way in hell.
