In some states (such as Mississippi) it's a 100% cut because male life expectancy is 67.

1. pfft like men are important...
*ahem* sorry thought this was GD for a moment.

you know the rich arent going to be happy until all us greedy proles are dead by age 55 dont you?

however the life expectancy of people, even men, is going up.

what pisses me off is this fallacy that soc sec is in trouble!
it brings in MORE than is needed to pay off benefits!
it's money that could be used to FULLY FUND a national health care system.

remove the 100k ceiling, completely, and you will have enough money to raise COLA for the last 15 stagnant years (COLA for seniors often gets cut), cover welfare, unemployment, and universal healthcare and still have money left over.
GOD FORBID THE RICH PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE!

but i digress.
