It took me a couple of episodes to warm up to this, but I did. It's nice to see John Hannah in something other than The Mummy or Spartacus, which is not to diss Spartacus in the least. I found it interesting to see the structure of English law... even though I still don't understand solicitors, barristers and whomever else they throw in. Netflix, true to its idiosyncratic self, lists 2 seasons, only one of which appears to be accessible. Correction: Season 2 is available on disc although it takes a bit of clicking around to get to it.
New Street Law 2006 NR Seasons 1-2
John Hannah and Paul Freeman drive this British legal drama's ensemble cast as the heads of two opposing law offices, with Hannah playing the role of a passionate defense attorney who's parted ways with his powerful mentor (Freeman), an ambitious prosecutor. Sparks fly in the courtroom when their legal philosophies -- and egos -- inevitably collide. But, sometimes, it's a struggle to remain professional.
