Hardships abound for the wealthy and spoiled clientele of one of London's poshest hotels, as witnessed behind the scenes by the men and women who must serve them as employees of Hotel Babylon in four seasons of this slick BBC dramedy. With a porn film being shot in one area and a Bollywood wedding proceeding in another, the staff and management never know who's going to demand what in this series based on a novel by Imogen Edwards-Jones.

1. I just started this a few weeks ago

I think I've seen 3 or 4 episodes. Not bad.

2. Okay, I'm downgrading this to 3 stars

I loved the first two episodes, and then it devolved into a slightly sophisticated British slapstick. Plus, I found one of the last major characters introduced totally unlikable.

3. I'm into the second season

For the most part, it's enjoyable. Downright funny at times.
