Roku private channels?

Anyone know about this? While looking at the new roku player (and trying to justify spending $99 to get 1080) I found a link to add channels that are supposedly not listed on the channel store.

I signed up for it and cant wait to get home to see what I just did to my roku lol. Also anyone have the new one with the USB port? If only it played avi files it would be on the way already.

I added 3 private channels yesterday (justin.tv, CNN, My Roku Channel) by entering the code here: https://owner.roku.com/Account/ChannelCode/?code=H9DWC (this is the same link as yours, but I have registered my Roku box and logged in). There is what it looks like:

(here there is an empty box to enter the code)

Some of them turn out to be not valid, but most of the ones I have tried do work. The latest one I added was for Google Voice.
