So I'm at this moment streaming X-Men and loving Logan all over again. Earlier today it was The Fugitive. Before that it was The Bourne Identity. Who needs cable?

1. I'm streaming Missing

I'm not thrilled with this show. I don't much like either the first or second season cast, and the plots are getting repetitious. But Catarina Scorsone is enough to keep me watching.

Next Friday I will be streaming Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.

Neverending Story is going away on the 19th, so I snagged it. And I watched Loose Change, the 9/11 documentary.

I say "streaming" rather than "watching" because the video quality is poor, but then I'm mostly listening to it while I surf the web. Once nice thing about justin.tv is that it plays one episode after another.

12. Who Is Harry Nilsson

(and why's everybody talkin' about him?)

this is a documentary from 2010. I had seen previews and wanted to see it. I was pleased to find it on Netflix streaming yesterday. I watched it today.

It was very excellent, I think.

My Harry story:

When I was 1 or 13 I used to listen to FM radio at night and fall asleep to it, then it would still be on when I woke up.
One morning, it must have been a weekend, or summer, or possibly both, I woke up to a speaking voice, then the song, "Me and My Arrow" started. After it ended, there was a speaking voice that was only making vague sense, then another song, and I started to "get" that I was listening to a whole story that was a mix of songs and spoken word.

I woke my older brother up so he could listen too. I thought it was really cool, but had no idea what it was. Maybe a week later, my brother came home with Nilsson's "The Point" and gave it to me. I have a great brother.

30. Here's one I watched last night

It's called "Sophie Scholl: The Final Days". Excellent movie. Pretty grim but very well done. Probably half the movies we watch are foreign. I have no problem watching movies with subtitles unless I'm rowing. Then it's much easier to watch them in English.

31. Exit Through The Gift Shop by Banksy which was fascinating

It begins describing the modern street art movement that had been filmed by an avant-garde french guy with a camera who gets obsessed with capturing street artists on tape and becomes determined to document the most elusive artist of all - Banksy, which he finally gets to do. The documentary evolves from there and takes you on a wild ride. Really good.

Shephard Fairey, the artist who did Obama's infamous campaign poster is also in it.

Watched the first hour and will finish it tomorrow. Very good movie so far. Interesting plot and the actor who plays Solo is wonderful. He reminds me a little of Joe in "Station Agent" the way he carries the film, always happy and chatty. You can't wait to hear what he's going to say next.

63. One of the movies that's just gone bye-bye: "La Vie en Rose"

The biopic about Edith Piaf that won Marion Cotillard an Oscar.

Some of the online commenters on IMDB seem to think that her performance was over the top, but from what I understand, Piaf really was that volatile and neurotic. Not surprising for a tremendously talented person who grew up with unimaginable insecurity.

But now I have a reference point. Whenever I'm feeling blue, I can think, "Well, at least my life is better than Edith Piaf's."

When it came up on Netflix of course we had to watch it!! Still emotional. I think you are right... It may be the best one. My husband keeps saying they'll do a movie with the girl. And I had rented the discs but never actually watched them, so when they streamed it I decided to watch it. I finished season 1 and have moved over to HuluPlus to catch up on the rest. This is how I caught up on the entire series of Bones and Psych as well. if i keep this up I will have watched every series available on Netflix. LOL

full of all the crap the mother bought and maw maw had to use her Jenga skills to move everything. It was funny when the dad used a vacuum to try to pull the baby out. Just trying to watch it when the kids aren't around. My 6 year old went in the living room and started watching it after I told her to get out of my room. I told her she couldn't watch it. Uggh.
