The best Afleck movie I have ever seen. Strong cast, strong plot. A shoot-em-up with lots of guns and bullets, but not even a bit of gratuitous blood, guts, or gore.

1. True story.
My daughter worked down at the souvenir store on Yawkey Way while she was going to school in Boston. She made a huge sale to the movie set crew for shirts and hats worn during the filming. She got to see the filming of the Fenway Park breakout scene. She never saw Ben in the store, but she did ring up a sale for Matt Damon...

I thought "The Town" was pretty good, but "The Departed" was the best movie I've seen in the Boston crime genre.
