that one of the local news stations held a few days ago, and the response in the DC metro area was overwhelming to say the least. That's why I'm glad you posted this to bring this crisis to all of DU. The best present anyone can give does not come from a store, but from the heart. Let's remember that there are thousands of families suffering this season, and we need to reach out to them and make a difference in our communities.

As for 8 years of Dubya and Darth Vader, fuck them and the horses they rode in on!!!! They brought nothing but misery and distress to America for way too long!! I'll be so, so, so glad when Obama takes the oath of office so we can heal from this madness!
