Show the Phelps kids that are dragged around to these protests that there is another way besides hatred and strife. Plant the seed of doubt in their minds.
I read an article written by one of Phelps's estranged sons. He documented the horrendous physical and mental abuse that the father heaped upon his wife and children. If someone was skilled as a psychologist, they might be able to reach the phelps adults at the protests by confronting them about the abuse they suffered and how it has warped their lives. The cognitive dissonance they must be experiencing is probably enormous.
