Please wait until the facts are in. It's very easy to sell a story about someone. People buy the story, but that doesn't make it true any more than it makes it false. You just have to wait and see.
The facts are not in, or should I rather say out.
The press and the prosecutors are doing such an extreme job of painting Strauss-Kahn as a predator (which could be true) that it makes me wonder why?
I realize that the French are more tolerant of sexual indiscretions than are we Americans, but I find it impossible to believe that a man would be so popular in France that would be thought of as a likely successor to Sarkozy if he were half as horrible as the American press has painted Strauss-Kahn. That just does not ring true.
