4. A tie is not good enough in Florida
If there is another recount situation the Republicans WILL WIN Florida, even if the election night tally puts them 10,000 votes behind. They control all statewide offices and the legislature, and the Florida Supreme Court is not as liberal as it used to be. Kerry would need to come out ahead on election night by a good 20,000 votes to secure Florida.
