The only reason the republicans took the house and the senate in 2002 was that they were riding a wave of post-9/11 grief and fear. They're still riding that wave, but it's not as high as it was 2 years ago. And I think the Bush Administration is every bit as corrupt as Reagan's, it's just that they're not as good as putting on a "Who, me?" face when people call them on stuff. Bush will leave office either through an election or a nice messy impeachment. If he gets a second term, he won't make it through the whole thing.
