I live in a VERRRRY Republican area of Pennsylvania. Tonight, I went to see "Saved!" at our local movie palace. Perhaps I was in the theater with all the local subversives, going to see this send-up of Christian high school.
Anyway, when the "Fahrenheit 9/11" trailer came on (I can't believe they're going to show it here in Republican Hell!), and there was a particularly offensive scene featuring George W. Bush speaking into the camera, someone behind me yelled, "DOUCHEBAG"!
WOW -- I felt a thrill go through me. You'd have to know just how Republican this place is to realize how out of place someone yelling that to Dubya's face in a public place is. They proceeded to make fun of Ashcroft, as well.
Wooooo hoooo!
