Wearing a white T-shirt that read "I Love Bush," Amanda Gordon joined three fellow Bush supporters protesting the film in front of the City Centre Cinema on Friday. The 19-year-old hadn't seen the movie but planned to watch it this weekend.

"I think the people deserve to know the whole truth," she said. The film misinforms the public about Bush's relationship with the bin Laden family, Gordon said.

Critics have also pointed to a scene in which Moore makes the president look incompetent the morning the Sept. 11 attacks. Bush is reading a book to group of Florida elementary students when he gets word that a second plane crashed into the World Trade Center. He looks dumbfounded for seven minutes as the class reads.

"It's aimed at a younger demographic, and they're going to believe these facts and get all amped up and go to the voting booths," Gordon said.

Facts are horrible things. How dare we believe them!
