I've seen a recent post, and another one or two before it, speaking about Richard Clarke's "admission" at a congressional hearing that he arranged for the multiple bin Ladens to leave the country shortly after 9/11.
What I think is that Clarke can be taken at his word on this....that is, that he arranged it.
But since it is unlikely that Clarke knew all those bin Ladens were here, or where they were, someone had to TELL him that fact, and ask him (or tell him) to make the arrangements.
So the fact that Clarke did the arranging means nothing to me. I think the likely scenario is that someone in the administration besides Clarke passed on that information and those orders to him. Does anyone else have any more facts on this?
