10. The Monkees were vastly underrated.

Yeah, they used studio musicians. So what? So did the Beach Boys, the Mamas and the Papas, the Byrds - sometimes the same musicians as played on the Monkees sessions - and how about all those Motown groups?! It was the 60's, folks.

*End of rant*

Favorite Monkees songs:

"Take A Giant Step"
"The Girl I Knew Somewhere"
"Sometime In The Morning"
"Look Out (Here Comes Tomorrow)"
"A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You"
"Pleasant Valley Sunday"
"Words"
Everything on "Headquarters"
"D. W. Washburn"
"Goin' Down"
"Tapoica Tundra"
"Good Clean Fun"
"Listen To The Band"
"Ditty Diego"

Good thread!
