Democracy Now! in January. This guy in Champaign, IL had a hospital bill from the late 1980s that he had been making payments on. The collection agency for Carle Clinic didn't think he was paying enough over the years. They would issue a summons to him and he missed one court date. The cops came and arrested him and put him in jail. When asked why he was put in jail he was told about body attachment. He had no property so the hospital could not place a lein against anything except his body.
