Good or bad, many artists run out of ideas and insert popular filler lyrics into songs. Help distract me from work by naming your favorite or most hated filler gimmicks!

One of the most common that irritates me: Shouting out names of cities

This is such a cheap applause line. "Hey that's my city! Now I like this bland, uninteresting song! woooh!"

Examples:
The Heart of Rock 'n Roll by Huey Lewis
Living in America by James Brown

Hip-hop is an easy target. Some artists have produced entire albums of cheap filler.
