It is not independent. It is captured by the major private banks and their executives. It is merely a system used to distribute money for a nation. There are better systems out there. It is NOT the holy grail, it is not immune from corruption.
The system must change. Because the Fed is no longer concerned about its mission to support all levels of the economy and the nation. It is fixated on helping only bankers.
