Right now, Israel isn't facing any pressure to withdraw from the occupied territories because the US is backing them. If people in the US really knew enough about this kind of thing, I would hope that support would eventually be withdrawn. I don't think the average American is aware of this kind of thing and I don't think they would support it if they knew.
