"Defense Minister Amir Peretz has ordered Wednesday an immediate and thorough investigation following Ynet’s report on the harassment of a Palestinian family in Hebron at the hands of Jewish settlers.

Peretz, who saw the footage and heard first-hand accounts from members of the Abu Aisha family, spoke with IDF Southern Command Chief Yair Naveh and instructed him to launch an investigation into the incident “that shamed Israel,” according to him.

Taiseer Abu- Aisha, 43, told Ynet following the release of the video that he had filed between 200 and 300 complaints in recent years, but police did nothing to stop the harassing."
