where I would least expect it. I went to listen to the TARP hearing in the Senate Finance Committee because I wanted to learn more about the financial crisis. But, rather than the dry hearing I figured I should watch, the first 35 minutes was a party for Baucus, who has been in the Finance Committee for 30 years. 7 of the Senators each spoke of the 7 other Senators who have 30 or more years.
Kerry spoke after Senator Lincoln, who spoke of Baucus's dog, who (like Kennedy's) comes to the Senate - she was happy he never growled at her. Kerry followed up joking about who the dog does growl at. Kerry starts at 22 minutes in though the whole thing has funny moments.
