The best real sign of respect is something like this. I remember Kerry praised him in his Faneuil Hall energy/environment speech - and then refered to the years of Bush/Clinton and Bush as the "years the locusts ate". I had never heard that Churchill Hill phrase but it perfectly describes the wasted time.
