My Dad was a continually publishing photographer in the Hitler years of Germany.

His profession was to preach against Hitler with the SS in the front row of his little church every Sunday to monitor the level of his objecting. Til they came after him and he had to go into hiding.

He taught me how to frame a picture, how to know about negative space, how to stand up to injustice.
