I think of all the well to do retirees that made their money being corporate whores and investing in Big Oil, Guns and Butter. They came up here to Maine and drove the cost of waterfront property to where the locals couldn't afford to live there and had to move to higher ground where the land was cheaper and the property taxes lower.
