Ladies and Gentlemen, the HOUSE is in session!

Morning speeches have begun.

Dem spoke about raising minimum wage. Rep is now speaking about the evils of the Mexican government and GPS tracking of "the invasion of illegal immigrants". Nothing has changed in their agenda for sure.

"That's just the way it is" seems to be the new GOP mantra. After many of them speak now, they add that phrase as they turn back the floor to the chair. I noticed this last week during the rules debates and it made me uneasy then. It's making me even more uneasy now.

Wonder how many times blivet** will say that in his SOTU speech ... to catapult it into the speech patterns of the talking heads?

Anyone else notice the use of this phrase last week?
